Alberto Contador crashed out of the Tour de France on Monday. It was a sad ending for the 36-year-old Spaniard, who was one of the favorites to win this year’s Tour. With all his bad luck in this race, he’s had a successful cycling career, which is far from over, but first he’ll have to heal his fractured leg. Bon chance, Alberto! We wish you a speedy recovery.

Like other pro cyclists before him, Alberto Contador was accused of doping allegations. The three-time Tour de France champion was stripped of his 2010 Tour victory and suspended for two years. But he quickly got back in the game. Photo by AP/Andres Kudacki.
