Froome, Vrooooom!

2013 Tour de France, Froome wins Stage 14 Chris Froome won today’s 15o-mile Stage 14– the longest stage of this year’s Tour de France– which ended atop the notorious ball-buster Mont Ventoux. Froome (Sky) turned himself inside out in the last mile of the climb to drop the only guy who could stay with him for any length of time. Rojas Quintana (Movistar), the young Colombian rider who is the Tour’s newest star, could not match Froome’s effort on the steepest part of Ventoux. Chapeau Froome! (But I was secretly pulling for Quintana today.)
